Los Angeles, CA – Dr. Bruce Goldberg, a hypnosis practitioner with degrees in dentistry and counseling psychology, recently shared eye-opening insights into the true origins of civilization on the Jeff Mara Podcast. Having conducted over 35,000 past life regressions and future life progressions with more than 14,000 patients since 1974, Dr. Goldberg reveals that hundreds of his patients recall lives in ancient Atlantis, Lemuria, and pre-flood Egypt. He emphasizes that most people alive today have lived in these ancient civilizations, stating it's a matter of spiritual evolution.

Lemuria: The First Great Civilization
According to Dr. Goldberg, the first major civilization was Lemuria, also known as Mu, which existed around 200,000 BC in the Pacific Ocean. This colossal continent stretched approximately 6,000 miles east to west and 3,000 miles north to south, supporting a population of 64 million people. Today, remnants of Lemuria include Hawaii, the Fiji Islands, the Marianas, and Easter Island, which survived the continent's eventual sinking.
Lemuria was home to two primary groups:
- The Essenes: Dominant and highly spiritual, they developed incredible technology, including television, radio, air conditioning, monorails, and even nuclear weapons. Their language was Sanssar.
- The Atlantees: While originating in Lemuria, they would later come to dominate Atlantis.
The average lifespan in Lemuria ranged from 500 to 1,000 years, echoing the long lives of Old Testament patriarchs like Methuselah. The civilization's main leader was called Rah Mu, linking to the ancient Egyptian sun god "Rah," suggesting Egypt copied elements from Lemuria or Atlantis. Lemuria also featured Temples of Wisdom, which trained people in advanced technology, and Temples of Healing, where energy healing was practiced. Healers wore silver headbands, while religious priests wore togas whose color indicated their spiritual level (pale green/light blue for novices, pure white for the highest level).
Lemurians built pyramids and other structures, indicating advanced technology and spirituality. They established colonies globally:
- Atlantis (their first major colony)
- Mayan civilization (Central America, Mexico)
- India and Tibet (which retain Lemurian spiritual influence)
- Australia
- Upper Egypt (the southern part, near today's Sudan)
Lemurians possessed advanced flying crafts called "Vailx," which were also capable of carrying nuclear weapons. Indian literature refers to similar crafts as "Manas," acknowledging that Lemuria was the central technology hub.
Atlantis: A Warlike Successor
Atlantis, located in the Atlantic Ocean near what is now the Azores and the Bermuda Triangle, was a smaller continent, about 77 square miles, with a population of approximately 20 million. Atlantis, Dr. Goldberg explains, was characterized by:
- Mummification
- Magical practices
- Cataclysm legends
- Pyramids
These characteristics, Dr. Goldberg points out, are strikingly similar to ancient Egypt. The Atlantees were highly intelligent and aware of the impending cataclysms, storing their knowledge in crystals to preserve their technology and civilization.
Unlike the spiritual Lemurians, the Atlanteans were very militaristic, akin to ancient Rome, with many Romans believed to be reincarnated Atlanteans. They possessed nuclear weapons, flying crafts (Vailx), air conditioners, electric guns, telepathic machines to influence thoughts, and monorail systems. Their main colony was Lower Egypt (today's Cairo), but they also colonized parts of South America and other islands.
Dr. Goldberg cites the ancient Indian epic poem, the Mahabharata, as describing a nuclear war in ancient India, with details like vaporized birds and elephants, and bubbling oceans, consistent with nuclear explosions. Remnants of radioactivity from ancient times found in northwestern India further support this claim, as nuclear reactions are man-made.
Atlantis was constantly engaged in wars, fighting not only Lemuria and primitive inhabitants of their colonies but also various extraterrestrial (ET) groups. These conflicts included "electric wars of antiquity," where ET groups, such as the materialistic and aggressive Lyans, fought against more peaceful groups like the Syrians.
The Sinking of Continents: A Scientific Basis
Both Atlantis and Lemuria experienced multiple sinkings:
- First sinking: 50,000 BC
- Second sinking: 26,000 BC
- Third and final sinking: 11,000 BC
Dr. Goldberg addresses the scientific plausibility of entire continents sinking by referencing Thomas Gold's "deep earth gas hypothesis," proposed about 30 years ago. This geological theory explains how gas belts beneath a continent can buckle and cause the landmass to sink. The sinking of these continents also led to significant geological changes, such as the emergence of the Andes Mountains in South America and the Himalayas in Tibet and India. The Amazon, originally a large bay, became a river as South America closed up. Dr. Goldberg notes that the idea of Atlantis and Lemuria sinking is not scientifically implausible within the context of plate tectonics and Earth's history of supercontinents breaking apart.
Egypt: A Copycat Civilization
While traditionally seen as the origin of civilization, Dr. Goldberg asserts that Egypt was a "middleman," copying knowledge from Lemuria and Atlantis. Ancient Egypt, especially after 5500 BC, became technologically advanced due to ET influence. By 3000 BC, when Egypt was unified, they had 30 branches of medicine, performing complex procedures like eye surgery, trepation (skull surgery), dentistry, and hysterectomies.
The Sphinx, for example, was built around 9500 BC, and about a third of the Giza pyramid was constructed around the same time. Lemuria settled Upper Egypt (southern part), while Atlantis settled Lower Egypt (northern part, Cairo), leading to civil wars between the two Egyptian factions.
ET Influence and the Creator Treaty
Dr. Goldberg states that technology was initially given to humans by ETs and time travelers. This raises the question of why ETs would empower a warlike species. He introduces the "Creator Treaty" of February 24, 1954, involving President Dwight D. Eisenhower.
According to Dr. Goldberg:
- Eisenhower was summoned to Edwards Air Force Base where Nordic ETs (Caucasian-looking, highly advanced) offered earth advanced technology in exchange for giving up nuclear weapons. Eisenhower refused due to the Cold War and the Soviet Union.
- Subsequently, Gray ETs offered the same technology without requiring the disarmament of nuclear weapons, but in return, they demanded the right to abduct a "few" citizens for research. Eisenhower accepted this offer.
Dr. Goldberg calls this treaty unconstitutional as it was never approved by the Senate. He claims that over 8 million people have been abducted since 1954 by the Grays, leading to issues like PTSD. The Grays, he explains, have reproductive problems and seek to experience human nature, conducting experiments involving human eggs and sperm to create hybrid species. He also links the Grays to Reptilians, described as the "worst ET species ever," known for being cannibalistic and ruthless.
The Origins of War and Human Nature
Dr. Goldberg posits that the origin of psychopathic human nature began around 200,000 BC with the emergence of our species, Homo sapiens sapiens. He attributes the continuous history of warfare to human greed and hegemony. Throughout 5,500 years of recorded history, there hasn't been a single day without at least one war. People fight for land, raw materials, food, and to expand their civilizations. He believes that while most people are average and fine, about 10% of the population harbors destructive tendencies. This warlike nature, he suggests, comes mostly from Atlantis, which preceded Rome, and also from aggressive groups in Egypt and the Middle East.
On a positive note, Dr. Goldberg predicts that humanity will evolve out of this warlike nature, stating that the 22nd century and beyond will usher in a "whole different world" of peace, with this century being the "last century of war of diseases of people being idiots".
Spiritual Practices and The Prison Planet
Ancient civilizations like Lemuria and Atlantis practiced energy healing in their Temples of Healing, which aligns with modern shamanic disciplines like hypnotherapy, Reiki, Chinese acupuncture, Tibetan medicine, and Ayurvedic practices from India.
Dr. Goldberg also delves into Gnosticism, a philosophy that describes our reality as a "prison planet".
- The Monad is the original, unknowable, perfect God.
- Sophia, an emanation of the Monad, mistakenly created Yaaldaboth (described as evil, with a lion's head and serpent's body) without permission and a male emanation.
- Yaaldaboth was cast down, creating our universe and the five planes of the karmic cycle (physical, astral, causal, mental, etheric).
- Yaaldaboth also created Archons (karmic lords) who create negativity to keep people trapped in the karmic cycle.
- Dr. Goldberg identifies Yaaldaboth with Yahweh, the God of the Old Testament, pointing to aggressive and genocidal passages.
- Sophia's divine spark is embedded within human energy forms, representing our higher self.
The concept of hell, according to Dr. Goldberg, was created by ancient Egyptian mystery school priests around 3100 BC to control the masses. They invented a god, Apophis (symbolized by a serpent), who would try to devour the sun god Ra and bring eternal darkness. Moses, having been raised in Egypt, then brought this concept to Judea-Israel. Dr. Goldberg states that hell is "imaginary" and doesn't exist, though a "lower astral plane" does.
The ultimate goal, in this Gnostic view, is to escape the "prison of the karmic cycle" by perfecting one's soul and eliminating karma, eventually rejoining the Monad in the Pleroma (heaven or nirvana). This is achieved by connecting with one's higher self through practices like meditation or hypnosis.
Mount Shasta: A Lemurian Outpost
Dr. Goldberg strongly suggests that Mount Shasta in California is a significant Lemurian outpost, with an underground civilization. He notes that the east coast of Lemuria is believed to have merged with North America, forming the west coast of California, Oregon, and Washington State. The soil in California, particularly coastal areas like Napa and Sonoma, is exceptionally fertile, an anomaly that Dr. Goldberg attributes to this Lemurian influence, as the fertility ends precisely at the state line into Oregon. Mount Shasta is also a hotspot for UFO and Bigfoot sightings, with the latter believed to be a primitive species or a genetic experiment by ETs to create modern man.
Dr. Goldberg concludes by emphasizing the importance of a positive mindset and connecting with one's higher self to navigate life, especially given the "three bureaucracies" of government, corporations, and religion, which he says are hypocritical and focused on money and power.
